What is this bundle, and how does it work?

It is a set of 13 self-paced online courses that make up Step 2 of the IREM CPM designation. You work through them online, on your own schedule, at your own pace.

Does it give me the full CPM designation?

It completes Step 2. To earn the CPM you also need the ETH800 Ethics course and qualifying experience, then you apply to IREM. An advisor can map the full path for you.

Who is it for?

Experienced property managers, asset managers and facilities managers who want the CPM and the skills that come with it, across commercial, residential and mixed-use property.

What experience do I need?

IREM asks for about two years of property management experience, or an equivalent qualification, to earn the designation. Ask an advisor to confirm your eligibility.

How long does it take?

Because it is self-paced, it is up to you. Most learners complete it in 6 to 12 months, depending on the time they can give it.

Is it online or in person?

The bundle is delivered online and self-paced. The exams are taken online with a live proctor.

Tell me about the exams.

There are two proctored online exams, the Management Plan Skills Assessment and the CPM certification exam. The CPM exam is open book, taken in one two-hour sitting, and you have unlimited attempts.

How do I get my certificate?

You receive a ThinkProp participation certificate on completing the bundle. The CPM designation itself is issued by IREM once you meet all its requirements.
